The Pahara Institute

The Pahara Institute is one of the nation’s foremost leadership development incubators for leaders working in the movement for educational reform. They identify, strengthen, and sustain diverse leaders who are reimagining public education, so that every child in America has access to an excellent public school. Adam is Pahara’s Vice President of Design. He is also a Pahara NextGen Fellow, and current moderator for the institute’s Pahara-Aspen Fellowship, and its Race, Reflection & Practice Toward Action program. More about Pahara.


SupaDupaFresh

SupaDupaFresh is a monthly reading series in Brooklyn, New York featuring new work from some of the most celebrated poets, playwrights and fiction writers in American Letters. Project Voice

Project Voice utilizes poetry to entertain, educate, and inspire. Founded by poets Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye, Project Voice has worked with hundreds of schools in thirty countries — reaching over 150,000 students from kindergarten through university level. Through award-winning performances and innovative workshops, Project Voice  promotes empowerment, improves language skills, and spurs creative collaboration. Pinterest

Pinterest is one of the largest image-sharing and social media services in the world. They are among the leading voices in the dialogue around bringing greater cultural competence to the corporate tech landscape. Adam supported the development and roll-out of Pinterest’s inclusion education programming for its global employee base, and continues that work as a consultant & facilitator. Dialogue Arts Project

The Dialogue Arts Project (DAP) is an innovative arts-based consulting group that uses creativity and storytelling practices to help organizations collaborate more effectively across lines of social identity and difference. By combining performance, participant art creation and facilitated dialogue, DAP works to reinvent the traditional “diversity training” experience for a wide array of clients ranging from university faculty, artist collectives, teachers-in-training, student leadership groups, and employees of Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. Adam is a founder partner of DAP. New York City Charter School of the Arts

New York City Charter School of the Arts (City School of the Arts) is an arts-based 6th-8th grade public charter school opening in the fall of 2016 in Lower Manhattan where arts and academics combine to help a new generation of leaders create, learn and thrive. The mission of City School of the Arts it to inspire a diverse community of young people to engage with the arts as a pathway to rich and rigorous academic scholarship and a creative purposeful life. Jennifer Brown Consulting

Jennifer Brown Consulting (JBC) is a global equity & inclusion consulting firm that supports organizations across the private, public and social sectors. JBC has worked with clients at all stages of their diversity and inclusion journey, including past and current projects with Walmart, Starbucks, Toyota Financial Services, Microsoft, the City of New York, T-Mobile, and many others.
